Juhi and I met freshman year of college, and I think I grew on her by the time we graduated. We’ve been best of friends since! There are way too many memories to share - Ma keeping me happily overfed with amazing food and celebrating holidays like Holi. Some of my favorite memories with Juhi include our Bollywood karaoke sessions and laughing so hard that she lets out her signature squeak (like the time Ayush and I had an onion-eating contest).
These days, I’m in Houston, where the food scene is so good it almost makes up for summers (it actually is the humidity that gets you). When I’m not learning about baby hearts, I’m either hanging out with my dog, pretending I’m an outdoorsy traveler, or restaurant hopping. Juhi and Jeremy, I can’t wait to celebrate with you! ♥️

I met Juhi in college when I did her henna in the middle of JC, and we instantly bonded over our shared love for India and Bollywood. Since then, we’ve collected a vault of memories: from Holi weekend(s) in Ft. Lauderdale (including some unmentionable stops) to countless concerts and movies. I’ll never forget crying through Kun Faya Kun with Juhi’s hand in mine at a Rahman concert or the time we proudly waved a gigantic sign to meet Farhan Akhtar after his show. I’m most looking forward to be showing up to this wedding in Jamaica with my baby boy in tow, ready for him to soak up the culture and island vibes!

I’ve known Juhi for nine years! We first met in 2016 while looking for a roommate for our grad school program in Florida—a mutual friend suggested we connect on Facebook, and after meeting once, I ended up moving in with her for the next two years.
Some of my favorite memories with Juhi come from those years in South Florida—like the time her glasses broke and we had to make an emergency run to get her new ones, or when we both donated blood and somehow both nearly passed out (she in the chair, me while driving us home). She quickly became my adventure buddy, and we tried out new coffee shops and restaurants together. What started as a roommate match turned into one of my closest friendships.

1. How did I meet Juhi? Funny story actually. Stalked her roommate Sarah and “her Spanish friend” for a month in grad school until I had the courage to enter the friend group…which just so happened to be on my birthday. Saw her tattoos and the “I love Bollywood” t-shirt. Needless to say the “friend” did not turn out to be Spanish. It’s now been 10 years I’ve been blessed with Juhi’s friendship ❤️
2. Being the unspoken third roommate during our Barry days, we studied hard but also played hard. From making funny Snapchat videos and forcing her to binge watch k-pop to going on long roadtrips and being there for each other in our most difficult moments, her company remains unwavered ❤️
3. I love to travel! Fun fact: I’ve moved about 23 times in my life. I can speak 5 languages fluently, and am still learning Korean and Spanish. Currently finishing up my last year of residency but hope to be able to see more of the world soon. I remember telling Juhi the most North I had ever been out of Florida was Louisiana LOL. Oh how much we’ve grown ❤️

Our eyes met in first-period math on the very first day of middle school, and the rest is history. Next year we’ll be celebrating our 25th friendiversary (which feels both impossible and slightly alarming).
Our friendship has basically been one long game of “pause and resume” — no matter how much time or distance passes, we always pick up right where we left off (comparing dog anxiety meds to human ones, making big plans for friendiversaries, lamenting the lack of spiced foods in my life).
A few fun facts about me: I don’t like running, but I accidentally inspired a friend to pick it up for health, so now we run half marathons across Europe. Also, my last water balloon fight was 46 days ago.

Hi everyone! I met Juhi 5 years ago when she became my mentor in pharmacy school. Funny enough, we have Jeremy to thank for us even crossing paths. Since then, Juhi has become so much more than a mentor, she’s one of my closest friends and is basically part of my family. We have many fond memories over the years from spending Christmas Eve together the very first year we met to celebrating birthdays together. One of my favorite memories is going to Halloween Horror Nights for the very first time with her. Fun fact about me is I love trying new foods and have a running list of coffee shops and restaurants I’m saving for when I finish residency.
Groomsmen

GABRIEL RODRIGUEZ
I’ve known Jeremy since 2017 when we first met working together at Broward Health in the pharmacy. Back then, I was in pharmacy school and he was finishing up his prerequisites, and we instantly clicked. Some of my favorite memories with him are our weekend pickup basketball games, gym sessions, and especially being there to watch him graduate from pharmacy school after seeing his entire journey unfold. Outside of that, I coach my son’s travel soccer team, love working out, and I’m a huge fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — we even share the same bald head. I’m honored to be a groomsman and can’t wait to celebrate with Juhi and Jeremy… and I have to admit, I like Juhi even more as Jeremy’s soon-to-be wife because she shares the same birthday as The Rock.

Jeremy and I go way back — all the way to Mrs. Howard’s kindergarten class at Margate Elementary. We were just five years old then, which means I’ve known him for over 24 years! He’s truly the closest thing to a brother I’ve ever had. I even had the pleasure of officially meeting Juhi in person in August 2023, and she’s every bit as amazing as he is. There are way too many great memories to count, but a couple stand out. In 8th grade, during the infamous Forest Glen Middle School food fight, Jeremy literally stood in front of me like a human shield so I wouldn’t get splattered — he saved my life that day! And of course, all the weekends we spent hooping at Firefighters Park, which was basically the mecca of street basketball in South Florida for us growing up. I’m Venezuelan and proud to speak Spanish, I’m happily married with a wonderful 4-year-old son, and one of my big dreams is to pursue stand-up comedy one day. I’m honored to stand by Jeremy’s side as a groomsman and can’t wait to celebrate with Juhi and Jeremy on their big day!

JESSE WILDMAN
I’ve known Jeremy for about 15 years now — we first met on the very first day of 6th grade. From seven years of school together, random classes, and passing each other in the hallways, I always remember Jeremy as “Big Jerm,” warm, friendly, and someone you were always glad to see. Some of my favorite memories include trips back to Florida and finally meeting Juhi for the first time at a seafood restaurant — she was such a pleasure to meet. Another was when Jeremy came to visit me in Chicago, and we ended up at Kingston Mines, a blues bar, not once but twice in the same night. Oh, and of course, the unforgettable moment when Jeremy gave me my COVID vaccine — talk about full circle! I’m so grateful to be celebrating this next chapter with Juhi and Jeremy as a groomsman.

JON FRANCISCO
I met Jeremy about seven years ago while he was working as a pharmacy tech at Broward Health… let’s just say he wasn’t the best tech (sub-par at best…jk), but we became great friends anyway. Since then, we’ve had plenty of good times together — from teaching him how to play blackjack in Vegas, to all our basketball games, to countless nights out that usually ended at Alehouse. I’d describe myself as adventurous and always up for something new, whether that’s traveling, staying active, or picking up random hobbies — I even recently went running with the bulls in Spain. I also have the unique skill of being able to fall asleep just about anywhere, and if a dog walks by, you can bet I’m stopping to say hi. Honored to be a groomsman, and yes, I definitely did not use ChatGPT for help writing this.

JAVED UMAR
I first met Jeremy at Baptist Hospital of Miami while he was completing the first year of his residency program, and I was working as a pharmacist there. A year later, I came back for a specialized residency in pharmacy informatics, and that’s when we really got to know each other. During his informatics rotation at the Coral Gables corporate office, we quickly bonded — especially over our newfound addiction to Cuban coffee (thanks to Aixa Rey). We’d brew it every few hours, sometimes just to stay awake, but often just to get hyped up and chat. Some of my best memories with Jeremy come from the time we spent in Boynton Beach together, training pharmacists by day and then treating ourselves to dinners at night that were far fancier than what we’d usually splurge on with our significant others. Outside of pharmacy, I’m fully embracing the dad life with my two baby boys — which means rocking Kirkland Signature gear and proudly driving a minivan. I’m honored to be a groomsman and can’t wait to celebrate Jeremy and Juhi!

JONATHAN MARTINEZ GINES
I first met Jeremy and Juhi at a pharmacy conference in Orlando back in 2022, and what started as a professional connection quickly turned into a friendship I truly value. Jeremy has been both a mentor and a friend throughout my pharmacy leadership residency — someone I could always count on to listen when I needed to vent, and also the one pushing me forward as we tackled projects side by side. Some of my favorite memories include putting together a holiday video for a party we were coordinating, endless laughs at the silly things I said because of my accent (“my English is not very good looking”), and our double date in New Orleans that ended with us painting the town red at The Swamp on Bourbon Street and belting out “Sweet Caroline” at karaoke. Beyond pharmacy, Jeremy has become someone I can truly call a friend, and I’m grateful that Juhi has welcomed me into their lives as well. I can’t wait to celebrate the two of them on their big day!
