to eternal love
Their story began in the halls of pharmacy school — a place where long lectures, countless cups of coffee, and shared dreams brought together a Jamaican-American from South Florida and an Indian-American from Rajasthan, India.
Juhi’s journey began in northern India before her family immigrated to Virginia when she was just five years old. She later moved to Florida to pursue a master’s program and decided to stay after being accepted into pharmacy school. Jeremy, whose parents both hail from Jamaica, grew up in South Florida — and as fate would have it, their paths crossed, and they have been inseparable ever since.
From the very beginning, they discovered a shared love for travel and food. Self proclaimed foodies, they make it a mission to seek out the best local flavors wherever they go. Thai food has become “their thing,” and no trip feels complete without finding a cozy spot serving fragrant curries and spicy noodles.
The Proposal
When Jeremy first asked Juhi to be his girlfriend, it was in front of the Indian elephant
exhibit at the zoo — a thoughtful nod to her heritage and her favorite animal. Years
later, when it came time to propose, Jeremy knew it had to be an “elephant-sized” moment. In India, at an elephant sanctuary, they spent the day with these gentle giants, learning just how smart they are. In a twist worthy of a fairy tale, one of the elephants handed Jeremy a basket — with the ring inside. Juhi said yes, and the rest is history.
Fun Facts
Juhi has an unshakable love for spicy food — no matter how hot the dish, it is never
quite spicy enough for her. She is also a passionate photographer, often capturing
breathtaking shots of nature. Jeremy loves outdoor recreational sports such as
basketball, pickleball, and cricket, and he enjoys spending time at the gym — a hobby he
now shares with Juhi. He is also a drone enthusiast who captures stunning aerial footage of their travels for his YouTube channel, @BigJermsVids. Juhi is a devoted coffee connoisseur, always seeking out the perfect black coffee wherever they go.
When they are not traveling or trying new cuisines, Jeremy and Juhi enjoy spending
quiet evenings at home watching their favorite shows — always dreaming of the next
adventure. In November 2026, that next great adventure will be their wedding in Jamaica.
